The Planning Process

A comprehensive plan is critical in finding the best solution to improve your financial situation. We strongly believe in your financial planning process to learn all important details about your situation before we provide our recommendation or decide to work with each other long term. Our 5-step process helps us know exactly how we can help you before trusting us with a penny of your nest egg.

Our Process

Step 1 - Initial Phone Meeting

Step 1 - Initial Phone Meeting

Before committing your time or ours, this 15-minute phone call will give us both a chance to make sure your situation matches our practice. After all, you wouldn’t see a pediatrician if you needed brain surgery.

If we aren’t a good fit for each other, we will gladly introduce you to professionals who better suit your needs.

Step 2 – First Office Meeting

Step 2 – First Office Meeting

The goal of this meeting is to become clear on your unique financial situation, goals and concerns.

Your answers to our questions, along with the documents we requested you bring, will guide our analysis, which will result in plain-English answers to four critical questions.

Step 3 - Our Analysis

This is where problems become solved, and a plan gets created.

We will apply decades of experience, thousands of hours of training to answer the following questions:

- Are you on track to reach your financial goals?

- Can you afford to retire?

- Are you overpaying your taxes?

- Can your portfolio be improved?

- Can you eliminate, or at least reduce threats to your retirement?

Step 4 - Second Office Meeting

Step 4 - Second Office Meeting

This step is where actual progress is made.

During this meeting, we will explain exactly what you need to do to manage your financial goals, including the answers to the five questions we asked during our analysis.

This is where you will see, in great detail, how our firm can improve your finances.

At the end of this meeting, we will ask if you would like to begin working with our firm or if you would like time to think about it.

Step 5- Third Meeting/Paperwork

Step 5- Third Meeting/Paperwork

During this meeting we will answer any questions you have and if you are ready, start the paperwork to become a client.

While we would love to work with you, if you decide that it’s not a good fit, we will wish you all the best and success going forward. There is never a hard-sell or pressure to say yes.

During our planning process we often bring in or refer to other professionals in their respective fields (listed below) to help our client receive a holistic approach to better their financial health.
